Tree Shear Attachment for Land Clearing with Avant Mini Loader

The Avant Tree Shear attachment is an efficient and powerful tree cutter, intended for forest thinning, land clearing and for clearing smaller trees. It can cut trees with a maximum diameter of 190 mm. If cutting is not required it can be converted to a grapple only.

Combined with an Avant compact articulated loader the strong grapple takes a firm grip of the tree trunk and a hydraulic cylinder pushes the cutting blade against the trunk to cut it. The tree is then quickly and efficiently moved away with the Avant articulated mini loader. If needed, the cutting blade can be turned 180 degrees to point backwards. This stops the attachment from cutting and allows it to be used as a grapple only.
