Forestry Timber Grab HD
The Avant Heavy Duty Timber Grab is designed for the Avant 700 and 800 Series loaders, featuring a reinforced boom, powerful hydraulic rotator, and large grapple for safe and efficient timber handling.
Supplied with an arborist kit as standard, it allows you to push down trees or branches with the loader instead of by hand. A rope can also be attached to the built-in bracket for towing logs with ease. Ideal for arborists, landscapers, and forestry professionals.
Two additional models are available that mount directly to the loader’s coupling plate – one with a hydraulic rotator, one without. Both use the same heavy-duty grapple as the A438973 model.

The optional Opticontrol is recommended with grab with hydraulic rotator, for operating the grab opening/closing and rotation (requires also 6 or 8 function joystick on the loader).
